Shawn
Shawn is a firm believer in movement as medicine. Having represented his school in both rugby and football, he understands the demands of his athletic patients. His interest in Physiotherapy began when he found the solution to his postural related pain through rehabilitative exercises. This further developed into his passion as he experienced the life changing benefits of physio when recovering from a variety of sports related injuries in his 20s. As someone who has gone through a 1-year long rehab for his own meniscus repair, Shawn understands the physical, mental, and emotional demands of rehab and is able to sympathise with clients.
Having gone through clinical placements in various restructured hospitals, Shawn has been exposed to various physiotherapy settings including stroke, post-operative orthopaedics, and sporting populations. He specialises in working with post-operation rehab (knee and ankle surgeries) and clients who suffer from sporting injuries and want to return to sport.
Shawn speaks Mandarin & English.
