Why UFIT Battle Cancer classes?
When people undergo or complete treatment for cancer they're often left to return to "life as usual," but for them, that no longer exists. We're here to help change that. We partnered with CAWS and Battle Cancer to certify a number of our coaches to deliver these classes, with the aim of creating a meaningful pathway of structured and progressive exercise rehabilitation that builds confidence, strength and independence for the future for those affected by cancer, and a belief in a better quality of life and health.
Who are the classes for?
If you are experiencing post-Cancer fatigue, physical limitations or challenges, these classes are for you. We’ll focus on where you’re at and what you’re hoping to work on. To get the most out of the program, we recommend committing to 12 consecutive weeks of classes for maximum changes in things like confidence, strength and mobility.

FAQs
If you decide to start the classes, our team will chat to you first about you and any questions you have around treatment, medications and where you are experiencing limitations after surgery, to make sure we look after you. We will be able to accommodate switching certain exercises or movements to better suit you. There is no one size fits all when it comes to programming and our coaches are experienced and knowledgeable in alternative movements and adaptations,so you’ll be in good hands.
All you need to bring to your first session is yourself, some water and to wear practical clothing and footwear that’s comfortable and appropriate to work out in. We have showers, changing rooms and amenities available at our Club Street hub.
