In the world of fitness and personal training success stories, Stephane's journey is a testament to the power of commitment, personalised fitness, and resilience.
A pivotal moment in Stephane's life was a visit to his doctor, where he received a wake-up call regarding his health. High cholesterol levels, excess weight, and the threat of diabetes were red flags that couldn't be ignored any longer. As a busy chef and restaurant owner, Stephane was also under a lot of pressure at work and knew he had to make a change as his mental health was suffering.
Stephane knew he couldn't embark on this journey alone. That's when he discovered UFIT and started training with UFIT Personal Trainer, Phil, on a weekly basis, alongside attending our indoor classes. As Stephane's main goal was fat loss, his program consisted of a progressive mix of weight, resistance and cardio training.
The weeks turned into months, and Stephane started to see some amazing progress. However, this journey was more than just a physical transformation. Stephane, who had never been a runner, soon found himself comfortably running 15km. He began taking on challenges and pushing himself outside his comfort zone, climbing Mount Rinjani and Mount Kinabalu, and entering fitness competitions like Hyrox (where he qualified for the World Championships 2024). His confidence grew massively, and he saw first hand the mental benefits of his hard work and consistency.
Overall, Stephane lost 11kg fat mass (11% body fat) in 18 months and gained 3.5kg lean muscle, but his story isn't about numbers on a scale; it's about personal growth and the pursuit of happiness through fitness.
